Early Life & Background

Deepak Kumar Bora, popularly known as DK Bora, is an Indian singer, lyricist, music composer, music producer, and director. He was born on 29th October 1996 in Nagaon, Assam, into a middle-class family. Since childhood, DK Bora had a deep passion for music, but he never received formal training in his early years. Despite not being academically inclined, his heart always leaned towards creative pursuits.

During his college years, he attended a cultural event where he saw a singer perform live. That moment sparked something within him—he realized that music was his true calling. Determined to follow his dream, he started exploring the world of music, despite facing several financial and personal struggles.

Musical Journey & Career

DK Bora’s journey into the world of music was not easy. Without formal training and resources, he had to learn everything on his own. He dedicated himself to understanding music production, sound design, and composition through online courses and YouTube tutorials. Over time, he honed his skills and started composing and producing his own music.

To establish himself in the industry, he built his own recording studio, Darkroom, where he began creating original tracks. His music started gaining recognition, and soon, he became a well-known name in the Assamese music industry. His unique style, meaningful lyrics, and soulful compositions struck a chord with the audience.

With his growing popularity, DK Bora also ventured into video production and videography. He founded DKB PRODUCTION, which specializes in music videos, films, direction, and choreography. His ability to blend melodic tunes with visually stunning storytelling set him apart from the rest.

Today, his YouTube channel has over 2.5 lakh subscribers, and his songs have garnered millions of views. His dedication, hard work, and passion have made him one of the most influential artists in the Assamese music scene.

Future Plans & Aspirations

DK Bora is now planning to expand his reach beyond regional music. He wants to create diverse and experimental music that resonates with a wider audience. Additionally, he is working on launching his portfolio website (www.dkbora.com), where fans can explore his bio, music, and upcoming projects.
